Newsletter - June 2012

The 2nd  International NVR conference is behind us and by all accounts was a great success. New trends in NVR were presented, new directions and collaborations were discussed and professionals from all over Europe and from Israel had an opportunity to meet and renew friendships. Pictures from the conference are available at the photo gallery in the conference website.

The conference was also an opportunity for receiving input regarding changes and additions to N.A.N.I. We appreciate all those who had suggestions and we are currently looking into incorporating your ideas into the website.

In this edition of the N.A.N.I newsletter we are highlighting a paper written by Yael Naim. The paper outlines the NVR Parent Training provided at Schneider's hospital in Israel with emphasis on the function of the telephone supporter while explaining the advantages and complexities in this kind of therapeutic team.

New additions to the 'about NVR' section were added recently. We wish to thank the NVR professionals who contributed their texts to enrich our knowledge about NVR history and developments in different countries. You are always invited to submit your own texts about NVR in your country and/or institutions and our team will gladly post it in the appropriate section in the website.

Lastly, a group of leading representatives from different countries and institutes involved with NVR met to draft a charter. The charter was signed by the participants and the detailed announcement was added to our website. (See at our home page).
