January, 2012

As we are getting ready for the 2nd International NVR Conference in Antwerp, we are continuing our mission of updating you regarding changes and additions to N.A.N.I.

We often hear from members who are curious as to how this whole NVR and New Authority approach started and how did it grow – both in Israel and in Europe. To answer this need, we are currently in the process of writing up the history of NVR and the New Authority. Some of our members have already posted regarding their own introduction to NVR/NA and their professional applications and we invite you to do the same. Just send us information about your institution and the NVR work you do there in your language and in English and we will publish it.

NVR research in Ireland! A qualitative research on the experiences of professionals using Nonviolent Resistance is currently being conducted at the University of Limerick, Ireland. Practitioners who have used NVR and would be willing to participate in a short interview via Skype are needed. You can read more at the running news in our homepage.

Lastly, our resource section is ever growing, so check out the articles and links posted by our members.
